Pound Ridge Library to Commemorate Banned Book Week

POUND RIDGE N.Y. - The Pound Ridge Library will be taking part in Banned Book Week 2011, which will begin the week of Sept. 24.

Banned Book Week is an annual even that celebrates the importance of the First Amendment, the benefits of free and open access to information and the downfall of censorship. Community members who wish to learn more about Banned Book Week and how the Pound Ridge Library will be commemorating it are urged to contact the library by calling 914-764-5085.
