Upcoming Events

Technology Workshop: Twice monthly on Thursdays. Next session: Thursday, Jan. 30, 11 a.m.  Registration required. All skill levels welcome. Learn to use digital devices (iPad, Kindle, Surface 8 & others) more effectively. Download free eBooks, audio books, and music onto digital devices.

Writing the Memoir Group: Monthly on the 1st Saturday, 10:30 a.m. Next meeting: Saturday, Feb. 1. Registration required. Open to all.

Watch It At the Library: Monthly on Fridays, 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7: "The Devil Wears Prada." No Registration  or fee * Bring lunch to enjoy after the film.

Second Saturday Review of Literature: Monthly at 10:30 a.m. next meeting: Saturday, Feb. 8: "The Submission," by Amy Waldman. Reading selections are available for check out. Coffee, good books and good conversation.

Senior Law Seminars: Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. Presented by Moira S. Laidlaw of Laidlaw Firm, Attorneys at Law. Wednesday, Feb. 12: Elder Law 101. Wednesday, March 12: Who's Afraid of Probate? Wednesday, May 29: Top 10 Estate Planning Mistakes.

Wine, Cheese and SCRABBLE Night:  Thursday, Feb. 13, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  All ages welcome. Equipment and cheat sheets supplied. Cornelia Guest, renowned SCRABBLE expert will share her expertise & tips.  Play for prizes or just for fun. Tickets $5.  Prizes donated by Antiques and Tools of Business and Kitchen.
