New York Times Puts Focus On Westchester's Copland House

CORTLANDT, N. Y. -- Music from the cello, violin and piano drifting from Aaron Copland's home in Cortlandt Manor is highlighted in the arts section of The New York Times.

As the weather blew cool November breezes, pianist Michale Boriskin and the ensemble Music From Copland House played Charles Ives’s epic "Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano, " the New York Times reported.

The trio of musicians are continuing Copland House's tradition of lifting up American composers, like Ives. In the New York Times feature, the group was working on its next performance Dec. 6 in Mt. Kisco, titled "American Mavericks." the New York Times said.
