The building, which overlooks the Long Island Sound, was built in 1900 and is housed at Hudson Park, according to lohud.com.

Hurricane Sandy significantly damaged the building about two-and-a-half-years ago.

New Rochelle City Council is expected to offer a $120,360 contract to Capital Industries of Yonkers to raze the building, lohud.com reported.
