Nearly All of Pound Ridge Without Power

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – NYSEG is reporting that nearly all their customers in Pound Ridge are without power due to heavy and swift snowfall pounding Northern Westchester. Of the 2,384 customers NYSEG serves in Pound Ridge, approximately 2,369 are without power as of 3 p.m. on Sunday..

There are no estimates of when power will be restored. Residents are advised to stay indoors and avoid travel when possible.

Jim Perry, a director for Pound Ridge’s office of emergency management, said the town’s department heads met on Friday, along with NYSEG officials, to coordinate their efforts in anticipation of Saturday’s storm.
