POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Pound Ridge Library’s Adult Learning Center has announced its Second Saturday Review of Literature book selection schedule for 2012.

The library invites new and continuing members to its regular monthly discussion group, which meets the second Saturday morning of each month, September through June, 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The 2012 book selections are:

Jan. 14: “The Magician’s Assistant” by Ann Patchett

Feb. 11: “The Surrendered” by Chang-rae Lee

March 10: “Homer and Langley” by E.L. Doctorow

April 14: “Rules of Civility” by Amor Towles

May 12: “The Invisible Bridge” by Julie Orringer

June 9: “Room” by Emma Donoghue

Copies of book selections will be made available o members at the library. The discussion groups are designed to provide an opportunity to read and talk about good books with neighbors.
