Hunting Season Opens In New York, But There Are Fewer Hunters

New York sporting goods store owners are hoping that the number of deer hunters grow this season, after the numbers have fallen over the past decade.

Over the past decade, the number of hunters has fallen, going from roughly 550,000 in state hunters in 2002 to around 483,000 in 2012.

According to Time Warner Cable News, over the past decade, the number of hunters has fallen, going from roughly 550,000 in state hunters in 2002 to around 483,000 in 2012, with the numbers of out of state hunters decreasing as well.
