Firefighters Raise $5,000 In This Week's Top News for Pound Ridge

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Here are the top stories from Pound Ridge this week:

  • A charity softball game on Saturday, featuring teams of firefighters from Bedford, Katonah and Pound Ridge, turned out to be highly beneficial for the Westchester Burn Center in Valhalla. The games, which were played at Bedford Village Park in Bedford, raised more than $5,000 for victims suffering from burns incurred during fires in the area.
  • While weekend shoppers can sometimes fill the streets of Scotts Corners , the section of Pound Ridge changes when scores of road bikes roll through the area.
  • Susan Feinberg ,┬áthe 59-year-old New Castle resident who was reported missing by New Castle Police Tuesday morning, was found dead in a New York City hotel room Tuesday afternoon, police said.
