SOMERS, N.Y. -- Route 6 in Somers has been closed from before the start of the morning commute between Windsor Road and Mahopac Avenue as a result of a downed utility pole that occurred after it was struck by a car Wednesday morning.
The stretch of road is expected to remain closed most of this afternoon.
No injuries were reported.
