Car Goes Down Embankment In Mahopac Library Parking Lot

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- The driver of a car that went down an embankment in the Mahopac Library parking lot on Tuesday was treated for injuries, officials said.

Mahopac Fire and EMS, Carmel Police and TransCare medics found the driver out of the vehicle when they arrived on the scene and only had minor injuries.

Carmel Police responded and handled the investigation.

Traffic slowed to a crawl to see the late model car hanging up on the wall between the library and the Methodist Church.
