- Voters approved the 2015 Pound Ridge Library budget by a tally of 102 for and 83 against, results show. The 2015 budget includes a spending increase of 16.36 percent, to a total of $791,117. The tax levy, which is the amount of revenue that comes from property taxes, will increase by 17.82 percent, to a total of $759,487.
- The amber alert issued by the Putnam County Sheriff's Department just before 11 a.m. Tuesday was rescinded after the child was found unharmed.
- As the Jewish High Holy Days began, police officials are stepping up patrols around temples and synagogues all over Westchester County, according to News 12 Westchester.
