The 11th edition of 100.7 WHUD’s annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon was its most successful yet. Thanks to the outpouring of support throughout the Hudson Valley, the fundraiser surpassed the 2014 Radiothon, which raised more than $250,000 for the hospital.

“We are grateful for the incredible support shown to the hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Radiothon,” said Michael Gewitz, M.D., the William Russell McCurdy Physician-in-Chief of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). “The generosity of our sponsors, WHUD listeners and the community as a whole is a wonderful demonstration of confidence by the community in the outstanding pediatric care provided to local children and their families by Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.”

The hospital provides seriously ill and injured children from the Hudson Valley and Connecticut’s Fairfield County with life-changing and lifesaving care. Located in Valhalla, the 136-bed advanced pediatrics facility cares for the region’s most seriously ill and injured children including those in need of cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, hematology and oncology treatments, organ transplants and other specialty pediatric services.
