POUND RIDGE, N.Y. - Pound Ridge Deputy Fire Chief, Vincent Richard Duffield, Sr., died Nov. 6 at Northern Westchester Hospital Center of Mount Kisco. He was 65.
The South Salem resident was the son of the late Irving and Jennie Duffield. A 47-year employee of the Pound Ridge Fire Department, he most recently served as Deputy Fire Chief. He previously ascended to the rank of Fire Chief and was a member of the Westchester County Parade Judges Association.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Duffield, his daughter Kimberly, his son Vincent, Jr. with his wife Dee, his sister Lorelai Floughton and a granddaughter. Duffield was predeceased by his brother Michael Duffield.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home followed by burial at Pound Ridge Cemetery.

I'm at loss for words on the passing of Vinnie Sr. There was a time in my life when my family was very close to him and his family. It's such a sad day when you realize the people you admired most have left us. Keeping Nancy, Kim and Vinnie Jr in our prayers. Mr Duffield you ARE greatly missed. Rest in Peace
Vinnie was a dedicated and valued member of the Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and our community. He will be greatly missed.
