Myers, a Canadian actor, comedian, singer, screenwriter, and film producer, was born May 25, 1963, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. He has played the title characters of the films Wayne's World, Austin Powers and Shrek. He was on Saturday Night Live from 1989 to 1995.
Myers has won four American Comedy Awards (Best Film Performance (Male) and Best Writing in 2003 and 2000. He also won an Emmy Award in 1989 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety or Music Program, for Saturday Night Live.
He has been nominated for two other Emmy Awards and has won seven MTV Movie Awards.
Myers was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 2003 was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame.
