Westchester's farms go above and beyond for the fall season offering beautiful selections of New York grown pumpkins and favorite family autumn attractions like hayrides and corn mazes.

Here is your guide to pumpkin picking in Westchester:

Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard - 130 Hardscrabble Rd., North Salem (914) 485-1210

This is a pumpkin patch the entire family can enjoy, even the family dog!

Every weekend from September through October and on Columbus Day Harvest Moon Farms holds their Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. And yes, leashed dogs are welcome.

The smell of the farm’s apple cider donuts fill the air as you listen to live music, pick pumpkins, watch your kids play in the bounce house, put them on a pony ride or let them get their face painted.

You can also enjoy hayrides and check out the farm animals. Food can be bought in the country store or by onsite food vendors.

Outhouse Orchards - 139 Hardscrabble Rd., Croton Falls (914) 277-3188

While Outhouse Orchards, “Home of the Happy Apple,” is fresh out of the joyous fruit, they still have plenty of pumpkins to pick in their picturesque patches.

You can also enjoy cider, purchase gourds and Halloween decorations or check out the corn maze at this farm located near the border of Putnam County. Outhouse Orchards also gives 15 minute hayride tours of the Hudson Valley farm.

Stuart’s Fruit Farm - 62 Granite Springs Rd. Granite Springs (914) 245-2784

Pick pumpkins off the vine or from the stand, along with gourds, Indian corn and corn stalks at Stuart’s Fruit Farm until Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy the foliage during a hayride on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm - 1335 White Hill Road Yorktown Heights (914) 245-5111

You can pick your own all year round at Wikens Farm, as they harvest apples, peaches, pumpkins and even Christmas trees. The pumpkin patch is open everyday in October from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
