The tips come from Clinton's campaign chair John Podesta, in a 2015 email that he received from Peter Huffman, a Merrill Lynch financial adviser who's done work for the Clinton Foundation. In the email Huffman asks why he has to add broth gradually, rather than all at once to the risotto, said Epicurious.com.

"Why can't you just add one or two cups of stock at a time b/c the arborio rice will eventually absorb it anyway, right?" Huffman wrote in the email that is circulating on Twitter, added Epicurious.com.

In reponse, Podesta, who is known to be a skilled chef, explained to Huffman on the basic principle of risotto cooking: "Yes it with absorb the liquid, but no that's not what you want to do. The slower add process and stirring causes the rice to give up it's starch which gives the risotto it's creamy consistency," reported Epicurious.com.

No exactly controversial, but an appetizing risotto tip.
