Tuesday, July 24
Board of Education Team Development Meeting: 10 a.m. The Bedford Central School District’s Board of Education will meet at Fox Lane Middle School and is expected to move immediately into executive session for team development activities. There may be a discussion of a collective bargaining matter as it relates to certified staff. Route 172, Bedford.
Film Festival: 7:30 to 9 p.m. The Pound Ridge Library will show a series of films on inspirational women who have made a difference in the world. Viewers will see "Ahead of Time," which celebrates the life of Ruth Gruber, a journalist, writer, witness and foreign correspondent. Wednesday, July 25
Town Board Work Session: 8 to 10 a.m. The Pound Ridge Town Board will hold a work session at the Town House. 179 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.
Thursday, July 26
Chaos University: 7 to 9 p.m. Participants of this Pound Ridge Library event will be able to role-play into a world of magic. Stephen Schiame will lead the journey as participants experience changes in time and space and take virtual field trips that involve saving the world. 271 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.
Planning Board Meeting: 7:30 p.m. The Planning Board will attend to public hearings that involve applications for improved road construction and landscaping of property. 179 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge.
