Guided Walks and Talks: Summer Chorus of Insects: 6 to 8 p.m. The music (or racket) of midsummer comes from a variety of insects that are important parts of the forest food web. Join us for an early evening walk and talk at the Armstrong Preserve and Education Center, and get in tune with another part of nature. Free. 1361 Old Post Road, Pound Ridge.

Saturday, July 20

Community Volunteer Work Session: Invasive Plant Removal: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is the best time of year to target Japanese stilt grass in order to prevent its spread into new areas. Free. Clark Preserve, Autumn Ridge Road, Pound Ridge.

Sunday, July 21

PRHS New Exhibit - "Our Archival Treasures". 2 to 4 p.m. The exhibit will showcase items, some never before publicly shown, from the archives accessioned over the years.  Free. Donations gratefully accepted. Pound Ridge Museum, 255 Westchester Ave. Pound Ridge.
