Try Out For 'Alice In Wonderland' In Pound Ridge

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – Young people who want to audition for a Pound Ridge Children’s Theater workshop performance of "Alice in Wonderland" can do so this week at the Pound Ridge Library.

Director Sarah Moden-Alliston said she hopes to have actors of all ages and that teens are welcome. There will be speaking parts for older children, and there is also an opening for a teen co-director.

Every child who wishes to be in the show will be included, she said, and the children will also help to write the script. Children from surrounding towns are  welcome to audition.

Brook Packard of the Manhattan Conservatory will lead the music.

The auditions are Wednesday, Jan. 16, and Friday, Jan. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. The library is located at 271 Westchester Ave.
