Ride Spin Bikes, Raise Funds For Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Fitcycle will host Spin-A-Thon, its third annual fundraiser to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, consisting of four one-hour rides on spin bikes, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Participants can ride for one hour or multiple hours. The event is suited to adults at all skill levels. 

Each hour-long ride is a $25 donation per participant, and participants must reserve a bike online at www.fitcyclepoundridge.com.

Rides begin at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon. Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early. 

FitCycle has won multiple “Top Fundraising Team” awards from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). For Lara Keidel, the founder of FitCycle, the connection with LLS is a very personal one as she lost her mother to leukemia several years ago. LLS provides lifesaving research and invaluable services to cancer patients and their families.

FitCycle is at 69 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge, (in Scotts Corners, behind La Familia Pizza).
