POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Police Benevolent Association is again organizing its Toys for Tots drive, placing bins throughout town.
Drop off new, unwrapped toys to any of the collection bins, through Sunday, Dec. 18. Here are the three locations:
- the Town House, 179 Westchester Ave.
- Scott's Corner Market, 55 Westchester Ave., and
- Blind Charlie's Cafe, 74 Westchester Ave.
Scott's Corner and Blind Charlie's are both owned by Billy Fortin, who's a PBA member. "Ever since the PBA started doing it, we've been doing it," he told Daily Voice.
"This time of year, it's important to us," Fortin said. "Anything for kids, old people and, of course, the military."For more information about Toys for Tots -- which began back in the '40s -- visit the organization's website. You can also make monetary donations online.
