Pound Ridge Library Plans Family Fun On Sundays

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Library will present a series of family-oriented programs on Sunday afternoons.

Chess Fest with John Gallagher takes place at the library every Sunday from 1 p.m. to  2 p.m. The program is for all ages and skill levels. Chess sets are provided, but participants may also choose to bring their own.

Also, a new program for all ages, Unplug! with Family Board Games, continues at the library on April 19 and 26 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. A large assortment of games will be available and snacks will be provided.

Teen Tech Sundays, will be happening during the month of May from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Teens will have fun with the following: 1) Smartphone Projector on May 3; 2) Virtual Reality with Google Cardboard (registration required) on May 10; 3) 3D Modeling with 123D Catch on May 17; and 4) Memes and GIFs on May 31.

Registration is not required unless otherwise noted and walk-ins are welcome.
