Pound Ridge Library Hosts Events For Adults

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Pound Ridge Library is hosting events and programs for adults through March. 

Here is a schedule of events:

Valentine's Day Wine, Cheese and SCRABBLE Night: Thursday, Feb. 13, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Holiday-theme decorations and refreshments. Test your SCRABBLE prowess against other local players. Cornelia Guest, renowned SCRABBLE expert will share her expertise and tips.  Play for prizes or just for fun. Tickets $5. Prizes donated by Antiques and Tools of Business and Kitchen. All ages and skill levels welcome. Equipment and cheat sheets supplied.

Library District Board Meeting: Tuesday, Feb. 18, 7:30 p.m.

An Afternoon of Music with Sloan Wainwright: Sunday, March 9, 4 p.m.

Senior Law Seminars: Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. Presented by Moira S. Laidlaw of Laidlaw Firm, Attorneys at Law. 

Wednesday, Feb. 12: Elder Law 101 Wednesday, March 12: Who's Afraid of Probate? Sponsored by the PR Recreation Department and PR N2N.

Writing the Memoir Group: Monthly on the 1st Saturday, 10:30 a.m. Next Meeting: Saturday, March 8. Open to writers of all ages and abilities.
