Pound Ridge: Learn How To Keep Your Body Smart At Seminar

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Learn about injury prevention, healing, body mechanics and and how to stay safe at work in a seminar Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pound Ridge Library, 271 Westchester Ave. in Pound Ridge.

This "Body Smart" seminar will be presented by physical therapist Steven D'Ambroso, DPT, Director of Bedford Access Physical Therapy & Wellness.

Topics will include, unspecified injuries, posture and lifting habits, twisting and pivoting motions, icing or heat application for injuries, sport smarts for kids and teens, resting sports injuries, stretching before and after exercise, stretches for injuries, good versus bad body mechanics and workplace safety.

There will be a question and answer period on specific Injuries, musculoskeletal Issues, and other related topics.

Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
