POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Pound Ridge Historical Society, in conjunction with the Westchester Area Basketmakers’ Guild, will host a basket exhibit and sale at the Pound Ridge Museum on weekends beginning Jan. 12.
The society will display locally made baskets from the 19th century when the area was known as “Basket Town.”
The show will provide lots of information on various kinds of baskets and some of the items on display also will be for sale.
The show will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from Jan. 12 through Feb. 10.
