Pound Ridge Garden Club Prepares Treats For Bake Sale

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Garden Club's annual Day at the Nursery bake sale will be held on Saturday, June 21, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Poundridge Nurseries.

Poundridge Nurseries is at 6 Pound Ridge Road, Route 172.

The bake sale will feature cakes, cookies, pies and special treats homemade by the garden club's members.

Club members knowledgeable about horticulture will also be on hand to help shoppers select plants for their gardens.

Proceeds from the bake sale help fund the club’s town beautification projects, including the planting each fall of daffodil bulbs in public spaces, such as the park and along Pound Ridge roadways.
