Pound Ridge Chili Cook Off, Cookie Walk Benefits Playground Renovation

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Pound Ridge Elementary School and the Pound Ridge Community Church are teaming up for an afternoon of fun.

Kids can also go to the church parking lot for “Touch-a-Truck,” an event featuring a variety of large trucks.

On Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., the school will host both a chili cook-off and bake sale, the Pound Ridge Community Church Women's Cookie Walk.

Kids can also go next door to the church parking lot for “Touch-a-Truck,” an event featuring a variety of large trucks.

Music and face painting will be included at the festivities.

Tickets are $10. Kids 9 and under are free-of-charge.

Proceeds from the events will go to the church’s playground renovation fund.
