Fairfield Library Brings Introductory Yoga Class

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The health benefits of yoga are numerous: improved flexibility, posture, bone health, immunity, relaxation, sleep and more. The Fairfield Public Library is hosting an introductory yoga class on Tuesday, April 5.

Kripalu yoga teacher Nora Weiss will lead the session. Come see if yoga is something you would like to add to your life. The event is part of the library's Wellness Series.

Weiss is the owner and founder of Intuitive Development Healing Arts in Fairfield, and is a health and wellness coach. She specializes in helping people bring balance to their lives. Her diverse background of healing modalities includes yoga philosophy, meditation, Reiki and personal training.

Registration is requested: do so here. As of Thursday afternoon, there were still seats available. The class will begin at 7 p.m. in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Rd. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel.
