The 46th annual Moonviewing Concert follows in the tradition established by museum founder Natalie Hays Hammond in 1966. East meets West to the strains of Japanese music in the Japanese Stroll Garden, adorned with paper lanterns and lit by a full moon. The Bento Box picnic begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Tea Ceremony class at 7 p.m. and the concert at 8:30 p.m. (weather permitting). The fee is $20 for nonmuseum members.
