Driver still makes dialysis after hitting fire hydrant, thanks to Glen Rock PD

EXCLUSIVE: A motorist headed to a dialysis appointment made it after his car mounted a curb and struck a fire hydrant in Glen Rock this afternoon.

Glen Rock Police Chief Fred Stahman (above, in plainclothes), who was at the scene of the Doremus Avenue crash near Rutland Road, arranged for the uninjured driver to be transported to the facility in Fair Lawn.

Meanwhile, his car was removed by a flatbed truck following the crash just before noon.
