Yorktown Man Charged With Stealing Lotto Tickets, Falsifying Records

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown Police arrested an 18-year-old for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 worth of scratch off lottery tickets and attempting to cover it up by falsifying the records at the gas station he worked at, according to Patch.com.

Andrew A. Sommer was an employee at the Chestnut gas station on Commerce Street. It was reported that he had allegedly stolen the lottery tickets then doctored the inventory report to hide his actions, Patch.com reported. 

Sommer surrendered to authorities on Wednesday, Dec. 11, according to Patch.com.
