More than 180 restaurants from the region’s seven counties (Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Ulster and Columbia) will participate in the two-week dining experience that celebrates the region’s agricultural heritage, distinct cuisine and diverse dining scene, which continues to have a strong focus on sourcing local, sustainable, seasonal products during Hudson Valley’s fall harvest season.

“Restaurant Week, especially Fall Restaurant Week, is by far the largest culinary event in the Hudson Valley,” says Janet Crawshaw, publisher of The Valley Table magazine and founder of Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. “It’s fitting that Tim and Nina Zagat serve as co-chairs and we are honored to have them present at the launch event. The Zagats are legends in the dining world and their support to advance our local food movement continues to help spotlight the culinary importance of Hudson Valley.”

“We are delighted to once again support the Fall Restaurant Week in the Hudson Valley,” said Tim Zagat. “The Hudson Valley has great local ingredients, celebrated chefs and wonderful restaurants.”

"During the 2014 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, restaurant patrons will be able to “Experience the Harvest” firsthand," said Department of Agriculture and Markets Commissioner Richard A. Ball.

Restaurants participating in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week feature prix fixe, three-course dinners for $29.95 and lunches for $20.95 plus beverage, tax and tip. The reduced pricing structure allows diners to experience fine dining at affordable prices.

Patrons can explore a variety of international flavors with a local flair. A complete list of participating restaurants is now available on www.HudsonValleyRestaurantWeek.com.
