POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- Jonathan Kruk, a master storyteller, will bring his talents to Pound Ridge on Sept. 28 to perform the "Legends and Lore of The Little People" at the Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.
"Jonathan is a great storyteller who really connects with young people," said Jason Klein, curator of Trailside Nature Museum. "He has a lot of experience and this should be a great event.
Showtime is 2 p.m. and is free to the public. Kruk will take his audience through the trails and try to bring the 'Little People' to life.
"He'll take them on about a half-mile walk on the trails," said Klein. "There will be a lot of props around and the kids will get to visit a faerie's den, take a walk through a faerie's market, and possibly see a troll under a bridge. It'll be pretty neat."
According to his web site, Kruk, who was raised in Westchester County, performs in 250 workshops a year. He was selected "Best Storyteller in the Hudson Valley by the "Hudson Valley Magazine."
