Pound Ridge Business Association Wraps Up Holiday Markets

POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Business Association's 23rd annual Antiques & Farmers/Bakers Holiday Markets concluded on Labor Day with dealers set up along the sidewalks of the business area.

Dealer reports included sales of jewelry items at $20-$50, textiles at $12-$200 and more.

Lee Moxey's sales were highlighted by a marine oil painting for $150 and two bracelets for $195 and $280. Fredi Muntz' sales included a French oil painting ($250) and two English silver plate serving items at $100 each.

The Association's Fine Arts Festival will be held Oct. 5-6. Next year's schedule on the holiday markets includes Memorial Day, May 26; Independence Day on Friday, July 4; and Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 1.
